I like the work. I like the work a lot. If I may, and please do not take this the wrong way, I would like to offer the idea that you take out the word "the" where you can, and think of something that may decribe a cycle or a circle? Just a thought- it may come to life a bit more without the flat line word "the"?
I like it, but if it were my work I would want someone to bring to me the life they "saw" in it. I saw the cycle of life, and yet it is begging to be documented. Revise, and remove (and and the) and see what happens. If you don't like it you can always keep it the way it is right now right?
