Re: Happy Independence Day.
Straightforward: I don't like to see extreme economic inequality in the United States or globally either. It causes much resentment among people. I believe there should be jobs for everyone that wants to work. However, I still believe as well that the individual citizen is ultimately responsible for his success or failure. Government can only do so much. Thanks for commenting on the article.

Happy Independence Day.
I think I liked the sense of pride that you have in being part of the nation that you are for the values that America was founded on. And I also believe that there must be unity. But unity doesn't mean a sameness and unity cannot be forged at the cost of extreme disadvantage to some Americans and to other human beings in some part of the world or other. What say WavyDavy?
