rainydayinmay, you had lived a whole lifetime by age 18. you always bring
out this in me ,the urge to reach into the computer and hug you. your story is so resonant of so many men and women who dont talk when they have the chance to and spend a lifetime regretting. My daughter and I were just talking about this today. She's 24 and a truly lovely girl . But because she's decent,pretty and talented guys are too scared to approach her. It doesnt help that she's shy. So all these guys who could ve been in a lovely relationship with a lovely girl shy away and she remains lonely and alone wondering what makes her unlovable.
