I wonder if just for the fourth,
I could get away with throwing a huge wad of plaster o' Paris together in the shape of my trunk-jumping son in law and letting my grandchildren beat the hell out of him until he spills his condescending sweetness?...Happy 4th to you, by the way...

I think, I hope, you're right.  The religious right is so wrong...that the phrase is scary more than it is funny.  I often wonder how people who espouse such unchristian values manage to call themselves "Christians" with a straight face.

Hi Notapoet - I share your misgivings - but hopefully the people will
put things right in the end - although the religious right certainly won't make it easy.
