Comments on But You Look So Good...

Go to Life is an Extreme Sport and I'm Not Athletic!!Add a commentGo to But You Look So Good...

I was scrolling down to catch up on what was going on with your health.
I don't read much at all these days, I'm terrible.  My Mom has MS, too.  I'm sorry you are dealing with it.  She has relapsing/remitting, but she goes through some good periods.  We make jokes all the times, because her legs don't listen to her and she often falls... and she travels a lot.  I told her she should try to get stitches every where she goes.  She added Israel recently. ;)  I have given her shots with her auto-injector, just to be more familiar.  She was diagnosed late though, not until her 50s.  Humor always helps, and yours has always been wicked... so I think you are well armed.  I don't understand personally what you're going through, but I understand being sick every day, or in pain, or something... I just told my husband, fuck it, if this is how it's going to be, I need 7 pairs of different PJ's .. just like Hef. I understand, intensely, the quote of your latest post.  Hang in there, J, and just try to look for the tiny good things.  That's what I do, but I know it's different from a brain injury.  Hell, just fell better.

I think it's all about having the right attitude...
we are capable of extraordinary feats. Humor is a plus.

But You Look So Good...
I've just now "stumbled" onto your journal.  What clarity!  I don't get around much, so I'm slow to discover others .  But when I do . . . !joab

Gypsy
I'm happy you've found that and I have an acquaintance here with MS, so maybe I can get some info from him. He is very hard to deal with though, but I'll try and talk with him.

Gypsy
Maybe the site understands that most comments aren't going to be about hearts and roses but about the very subject you touched on...pain! So go ahead and kick your feet!

Hey, Gypsy.........

If I call you Powder, I feel like I'm talking to someone I don't know.  hahaha  I'm trying, though.

Gypsy, I'm proud of you - you've got guts, and I admire the hell out of you.  You have a right to be bitchy and whatever, and anytime you want to vent, vent to me.  All I've got is time.

Re: Strat
I thought so too. It did me much more good than all the other clinical sites put together because he sounded so much like me. Plus he went so much more into the feelings and such than they did. Thanks for stopping by! Oh and for keeping me on my musical toes....

I just looked at that mssucks site.
It is very well done -- very funny -- and pretty eye opening. Everyone should check that out.

You Know We Are All Pulling For You
We all want the best for you. In your biography, it says you can be a bit bitchy sometimes. Well, for the most part, I need a little bit of bitchy to keep me motivated. If you feel like bitchin at someone, let me have it. I need it.
