The will to change must invevitably come from within, Dark Heart. It is an
excruciating thing to observe; for some, it is an excruciating thing to live. Those in denial are the lucky unfortunates. You continue along your path, hoping and guiding, and perhaps the people you seek to help will begin to also see the path. In the meantime, rest easy in that you do this altruisticly...

it seems everytime I read my heart bleeds for you. You seem many times stuck where I am or crossing paths that I have walked...I by no means am saying that I know....Nobody can understand anothers angst. But my heart goes to you

Dark Mistress, I understand your plight
and I sympathize, but we can't make people change, they have to want it themselves, and watching ones around you self destruct is hard. You can talk and offer help but until they reach for your hand there is nothing to be done.....keep smiling your heart is in the right place.

So the path goes.....
Far to often a place of refuge will become like a prison. People find these places and lay their hope within them. A place that began so good, still carries hope in those that see what it could still be. The desire for money and appearence in its many forms is like a vile curse upon the people of the modern world. It has been integrated into everything that we do, look a certain way to others, have a level of importance that may not be our own for the taking. With hope, the people you speak of will find a resolution to their problems that hurt not only themselves, but the very ones who are there to help them. Try not to fear the fall of a place of refuge...if such a thing happens, take with you the things you have learned, the people you have met, and build anew. The paths we follow through our lives are ever changing, when one looks as though it is laced with silver....remember that it is just a topping for the darkness beneath it. Keep the silver, respect the darkness, and follow the path that feels right within your soul....another refuge will emerge if it is needed, simply hold close to the people and ideals that are loyal to you....
