Re: SUBURBIA
that is suburbia... :) Like i said, I am happy in my life... I am just sick of the silly game that is this life. Sick of how it entwines it's scaly claws around my daughter's friends and choices. I feel as though the thralls of shallow greed, prohibit it's prisoners from seeing the real world... it isn't about being happy, happiness is always a choice...

SUBURBIA
Suffocating

Under

Burning

Uninsipred

Rubbish

Breathing

Insipid

Air

I've been where you are and I can tell you it will change after you decide to be happy right where you are.  It happened for me.  It happened for our daughter.  It can happen for you.

I think a move would be a good idea.  Even if you are further to come home to when your partner comes back from business trips; you will probably feel more content. Your instincts seem to be telling you something - following them will be an adventure.  Whatever you decide I wish you my best.

Your welcome … and I most certainly didn’t mean to suggest you’re not trying your best to live an inspired life. I simply heard a craving for something beyond. You, your husband, and your child can have both stability and a bohemian lifestyle.

Re: Rainy
You are right, this is certainly true! Great way to phrase it! Thanks Troosha!

Sometimes the choices we make when we’re raising children – like attempting to provide a stable environment, sculpt a trophy home, create an atmosphere of stability and temperance, and shape ourselves into the picture of a “good mother” backfires. We lose the very essence of who we are as we cram our self into a life we think we should be leading. It’s the downfall of many young families. Sounds like your ready to make a change…. The trappings of suburbia and the picture perfect family are the very things we ultimately realize we must abandon if we intend on living an authentic life.

i don't mean to imply i don't love my life or that i am not happy. Allergies aside, I am. I love our little family unit and the things we are in involved in. i just find the way society functions here to be stunting...

I lived in a city that I didn't like, either.  Because of my husband's job.  No matter what I did, it didn't seem to matter.  I wish I could offer suggestions.  All I can think of is trying to find activities that soothe your heart.  I delved head first into making things.  Re-painting, decorating the whole house, made 17 gardens...........
