I really like rain storms. I don't like the devastation some leave behind.very descriptive indeed.

Hi Chris - Glad you're OK, especially since your area's been badly hit.
It's not too bad round Manchester way, and I'm on the second floor so my flat is protected! Going up to the Lake District tomorrow, but the forecast for that area is OK.

Well done Tony! Realy descriptive piece here! Dreadfull up in Sheffield!
Helicopters have gone down from Scotland to help with the rescue's! Where I am-not much in the way of rain!Fortunately-but I see from the news-it's dreadfull across the country!! How about where you are? Hope you're keeping dry? Chris.

Antonio-yo-yo - Ha, ha, ha! Well Florida really does need the rain,
however, the weather people are watching three 'hot spots' on radar. I hope the first hurricane won't come while I'm here. Gee, how selfish am I? Seriously, it's hurricane season. We'll see. Floods are dreadful and messy. Is there any end in sight for the rain?

Yes, it's been chucking it down for what seems like ages, Mary.
We do need the rain, but the ground has now become saturated and the rivers are overflowing into houses. I suppose when it gets really hot down there, it's known as the frying panhandle?

separating livers? How long has it been raining. The panhandle got some very much needed rain last night and this morning. Now it's sunny, hot, humid, in the90's.
