Yes, Skulls and Bones, I think that's it - well done!
I'm very grateful to you for passing all this info on - most illuminating! The media is quite bad over here in Britain, too. They never seem to cover the real issues of the power structures and their own media agenda - instead they talk about sensationalist nonsense just to get people to buy their papers or watch their programmes. Admittedly the real news can be quite dull, but it would be very educational for those who are genuinely interested, but of course it would undermine the lies of government.

Mainstream media provides little actual news; mostly so called
entertainment junk - celebrity "news,", etc. I'm referring to the network and cable corporations on television. There is one program, "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" that does present true and factually based journalism added with commentary of a leftist perspective, of course..:) It is the most probing and seeking of truth though, imo. If it wasn't for alternative news sites, government/corporate propaganda would be flourishing much stronger. Thank heavens for the Internet!
I think you are talking about "Skulls & Bones," a secret society at Yale University, which George W. and his father both belong to. It is reported to be an occult-ish organization of the rich and powerful, as is Bohemian Grove. Sounds like a devilish Boy Scout camp for the big guys, Lol..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohemian_Grove
Bohemian Grove is an 11 km² (2700-acre) campground located at 20601 Bohemian Avenue, in Monte Rio, California[1] belonging to a private San Francisco-based men's art club known as the Bohemian Club. In mid-July each year, Bohemian Grove hosts a two-week encampment of some of the most powerful men in the world.
The Bohemian Club's membership includes many artists, particularly musicians, as well as many high-ranking business leaders, government officials (including some US Presidents) and senior media executives. As a measure of the Club's exclusivity, it is reported the waiting list for membership is from 15 to 20 years, though a fast track, three-year membership process is possible. Two current members must sponsor a prospective member. An initiation fee of $25,000 as of 2006 is required in addition to yearly membership dues. Elected members are also allowed to prorate the initiation fee into equal annual payments until they reach the age of 45.
The Grove motto is "Weaving Spiders Come Not Here", which implies that outside concerns and business deals are to be left outside. However, there is demonstrable evidence of political and business deals having been developed at the Grove. The Grove is particularly famous for a Manhattan Project planning meeting that took place there in September of 1942, which subsequently led to the atomic bomb. Those attending, apart from Ernest Lawrence and military officials, included the president of Harvard and representatives of Standard Oil and General Electric. Grove members take particular pride in this event and often relate the story to new attendees.[2]

Wow, interesting stuff.
I'm glad to hear this alternative truth is out there, when the impression we get is that the American media doesn't present enough of the real truth. It's inspiring. What is Bohemian Grove? It sounds like one of those secret societies you see portrayed in the movies with weird initiation rires where they all wear masks and perform unspeakable acts. if you know which film it is I've got in mind, let me know coz I've forgotten what it is. You know, where all the movers and shakers get together in some big house. It's a serious issue though, and I wonder what the evidence is that 9/11 is an 'inside job.' Hard to believe. We've been here before with the Kennedy assassination claims, and nothing has ever been proved...

Hi Tony, thanks for reading. My friend believes corporate fascism
is here and thinks it's only a matter of time before the camps will be used as an insurance against any kind of effective uprising against corporate dominance - round up, arrest and imprison - indefinitely those who participate in protest against low wages, war, working conditions, etc. The reasons given for the building of these facilities sound vague and misleading, imo and we are experiencing the detrimental effects of big business practices running roughshod over our economy and way of life. Historically, mass protests end in mass arrests and detainment, as shown in the excerpt below.

News Analysis/Commentary, Peter Dale Scott,
New America Media, Feb 08, 2006
Editor's Note: A little-known $385 million contract for Halliburton subsidiary KBR to build detention facilities for "an emergency influx of immigrants" is another step down the Bush administration's road toward martial law, the writer says.
BERKELEY, Calif.--A Halliburton subsidiary has just received a $385 million contract from the Department of Homeland Security to provide "temporary detention and processing capabilities."
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/february2006/010206detentioncamps.htm

Concurrently in the US, a new provision in the extended Patriot Act bill would allow Secret Service agents to arrest and jail protesters accused of breaching any security perimeter, even if the President or any other protected official isn't present. The definition of 'free speech zones' can be shifted around loosely and this would open the floodgates for protesters to be grabbed and hauled away in any circumstance at the whim of the Secret Service.
During the 2004 RNC protests, thousands of New Yorkers were arrested en masse in indiscriminate round-ups and taken to Pier 57 (pictured), a condemned, asbestos poisoned old bus depot, where they were imprisoned without charge for up to 24 hours or more.
The existence and development of internment camps are solely intended to be used to round up en masse and imprison 'political dissidents' (anyone who isn't prepared to lick government boots) after a simulated tactical nuke or biological attack on a major US or European city.

Hi Rae - it would be interesting to know more about what inspired this.
I imagine camps would be a last resort, but it's certainly feasible. Depends how far the public allow things to go. Surely there would be mass protests?
