It certainly looks that way, Naut. Sadly, we'll never know the true story
behind her getting beaten and brutalized.  From what I understand, she gave the police over a dozen different stories.  She may have been raped and maybe by some of those boys at the lacrosse house, but there was definitely one of those boys who wasn't there when it happened and DNA evidence points to someone other than those three as well...

saul
this was a flagrant attempt at 'nailing' three innocent men to help one man's political career. Nifong deserves no pity, and neither does that woman, as far as I am concerned. Unfortunately, she at least will be allowed to get away with this...

I never said they were innocent or good. But according to the law, they

were as victimized as that stripper, no matter who raped her.  Why don't you get your head out of that red Georgia clay and stop hating the world, Glennb.  And stop with your insufferable, holier-than-thou b.s.  You don't like my opinions?  Fine.  No one forces you to read my posts.  I believe at least one of these boys (men) was wronged, maybe all three.  There is no evidence that supports her various stories, nor are there any witnesses.  I'll stick with the facts as presented.

Do you simply exist to find an overriding conspiracy in everything?  Or did someone poison your dog and piss on your prozac?  Take a pill, Kaczynski.

It's the sordid side of the human condition, Jenasis. Nothing new,
unfortunately...

Saul Relative,
You make a comment and contradiction in the same sentence! How convenient to have an ATM receit at the time of a crime! Her partner also said they were not together at all time during the night? This young lady could be your wife, daughter, mother, or sister. Something happened at this "job" to this young lady and I want the witnesses to this crime to come forward! So take your FOX News, CNN, Bullshit spin and put it up where the sun does not shine!

By the way "Stripping" is not a crime! "Prostitution" is! If it is found that a part of the "job" is to perform "sex for money", be physically molested and humiliated, I want that to be exposed as well! You want to put your head in the sand, go ahead! These are not "innocent good college kids"!

Why do they make something legal if it makes a person "mentally ill" and unable to bear their own children?  If you ask me, someone else is mentally ill in that picture, and it's not the entertainment.

The factual base I resource is CNN and 60 Minutes, including the last

major interview done by Ed Bradley.  And I rarely watch Fox News -- it is too fair and unbiased.  One of the boys accused was at an ATM across town -- investigated, documented and time-stamped footage of his withdrawal is part of the evidence Mike Nifong sat on for so long.  Before you accuse me of being in a fog, Glennb, try to learn a little about the subject matter.

And for all I know, those boys are guilty as hell.  But you can't condemn them on the circumstantial evidence presented.  Nor can you use the "victim's" statements, since every one of them contradict themselves, nor do they correspond with any other statement given by any of the witnesses, including the other stripper.  And don't call this woman a "lady", as if given her a more socially acceptable.  Consider this: her first statement to the police, who found her beaten and disheveled, never mentioned the Duke incident but instead implicated another male acquaintance.

Saul_Relative,
You really are in a fog. Which one of these clowns was not "in the house"? So you are saying this woman woman woke up that day and said to herself "let me go ruin my life and the lives of some innocent white boys"! I have not heard the account of the incident that you have but your access to Fox News is a little more acute.

Sorry I do not buy this media driven "pity party" being held for this scum roaming my Planet!

The woman in question changed her story a dozen times, Glennb. Her
partner in the stripping exercise told a far more benign tale of the incident.  And one of the guys wasn't even in the house when the alleged rape took place.  That's the evidence we know of.  And we could all be wrong.  But, from what we know, these boys are innocent of rape (one of them for certain).  We also know that the alleged "victim" lied several times about her testimony, not from anything the boys said, but from the "victim's" partner.  I'm calling this one on what is known, Glennb, not some bow toward "elitism".  These young men of privilege are just the kind I don't mind taking down a peg or two, but only if they deserve it.  In this case (again, according to what we know), the didn't and don't deserve it.

Saul_Relative,
Again you confuse the "real" facts with the media spin. Why is there only justice for these three "white assholes"? I think you are too much in love with "white elitism"! You are at a party watching a woman get molested by a bunch of degenerate college kids in the name of having a good time. There has not been any testimony that suggest this woman lied! Or have you seen something that I missed?

These three clowns are not victims! They either witnessed the crime or participated in the cover-up! I am supposed to feel comforted that these people are the next generation of leaders of America. You go ahead, I am fed up!
