Really, rainyday, I hear this question asked all the time. Sometimes
they rephrase by substituting "continuing" for "developing".  It's a commonly asked question of reporters in the field.

that was a really ignorant way to phrase the question. Was this a scripted remark? If so, I hope they take some heat from network and find a new writer.
