My daughter opted to be a vegetarian when she was about 12 and it lasted until she was about 18/19 at which time she moved out on her own an realized the affordability or a hamburger. She used to say "I can't eat anything that had a face" but now she'll eat anything you put in front of her.

it's the truth though. I mean, on one hand it is beautiful that children have the compassion for animals, that they do. Even so, the risk of not knowing where our food comes from, or even how it became, is a frightening risk to take.
