It's easier to steer clear of the network news with all the other resources readily available now as supplement or corrective. TV is still fairly good at getting and collating the moving pictures, though the interpretation often leaves much to be desired. Savvy viewers can discount the biases. Which doesn't make them any the less annoying, of course. I guess it's like wearing a hair shirt. You might have a good reason for wearing a hair shirt, but you still want to take it off as soon as you put it on.

I don't know I haven't watched network news since Dan Rather did the whole series on George Bush....Oh and the Kerry Swiftboat gig forever sealed network news fate in my book. I get my news from Fox and never ever do I listen to liberal news..It insults my intelligence.
