Funny I should read this now. I have been feeling a little misogynistic (can a woman be that?) due to being around too many women (cliques, shallow stupid female concerns, etc.) I was an engineer who spent lots of time hanging out with just men too.

Nicely written. I can so relate to the process you described.
Isn't it sweet to finally figure out all that bending and twisting to be what we think someone else expects is totally unnecessary because they like us just as we really are?
