I'm sorry that you are having trouble with loyalty in friendship. Losing close family members is very trying. Maybe you can find someone here who will prove much more loyal.

I know how you feel, I'm the friend that people always turn to and I'm always there with an open heart and ear. But I have no one to return that favour for me. I hope sincerely that you find a good friend and also that things pick up for you.

Thank you... Death is easier to deal with I think. Not that it wasn't hard because it was... But there is less of that level of rejection.
You are right, equal partnerships. Some times though, our eyes are blinded and we don't see things accurately.

Nope, we all need that number on speed dial that we can call no matter what the time. If we spend too much time accomodating others, then they grow to expect it. Friendships are supposed to be equal partnerships from the beginning and if that doesn't happen, then they really aren't that good of friends. :-(

it is odd how some poeple have a twisted notion of friendship. You are better off without this woman, and you will find to be there by your side, even if it was only one, she or he will be worth the wait. Take care.

There are a few “Sex in the City” friends out there but they’re certainly rare. I’m so sorry that you’ve been though so much and then had to face the bite of a selfish friend. Your disappointment must run so deep. I suspect you’ll meet someone new and develop a nurturing and abiding friendship with that person. The Universe simply works that way so don’t lose hope.
