Three things were so important in this 'sound off' on faith by the Democratic party was: 1)They know they must appeal to the Christian. Some of it was so far fetched; however, 2.)God wants the Gospel spread. Whether they have it right or wrong they have been instrumental in spreading the Gospel. 3) Like it or not this is an affirmation that this is a Christian Nation. Perhaps there are those who will give them a lot of froufrou but they did this only because they had to - the majority are believers in some form of Christ.
