I'm so glad that "The Feral Man" found it to his liking to grace us with his presence once more.  Thank you for visiting my blog.  I might have missed you otherwise.

Oh yeah... they're out there; women not wanting to be tied down to a traditional role or daily drama and expectations.  They treausre their solitutde but want to be able to step out of that sacred silence with their lips painted brightly, a pair of high-heels, and be able to slip their arm into a man's as they head out for a lovely dinner, some great conversation, and...

Talion...
Thank you.  No I have not read any of these novels, but they sound interesting.  The thing is...I may have encountered such a woman, it was my internal efforts to dismiss her that led to me pondering the existance of a feral woman, an equal counterpart.  The whole thing is quite disconcerting for me.  I find myself treading on unfamiliar ground.

Thanks OTA...
Good to be back, but this time I'm not making any proclamations about how long I will stay...just see how it goes.  A sit-com huh?  Perhaps, I could be a writer for show.

Have you read any of the Spenser detective novels by Robert B. Parker? It's hard-boiled philosophy. Spenser is a feral man as you describe, one able to simultaneously exist within and outside society, but he's managed to find his female counterpart. His relationship with her is stronger than most marriages, they've been together for years, yet maintain seperate residences. The plots of these novels are nothing spectacular. Most of the time it's not even a whodunit, but a case of how-do-we-get-'em. However, the characters are wonderful. Sad to say the perfect example of your feral man is fictional.
