This is incredibly close in theme - especially your comments - to my own
piece. I know you posted this first, don't get me wrong - it's pure coincidence! I think your explanation is useful in shedding extra light on the poem, but it was still a very strong effort indeed. (I say 'was' because it's from your 'younger days'...!!)
