I have a sort-of-like-that observation...
New or fairly new elastic-mesh artificial fiber type blankets ("Thermal blankets" we used to call them) will cathc fleas. Their body bristles actually get stuck in it like velcro.

it sounds like a good idea--
maybe you should invent it yourself instead of waiting, you'd be rich! LOL. I saw your comment about people adopting three-legged dogs, right after I posted about my three-legged cat.
