Sorry to hear about your friend Judi. Perhaps you should dig out some old photographs today and just place them somewhere where you can look at them and remember all the wonder moments you had with her. And yes… isn’t it remarkable that you also received a birth announcement. Life (and death) works in mysterious ways.

Balance
there is a balance that life requires.. a law of nature.. the terrible loss of your friend coupled with the new birth.. your ability to be strong with a friend who is staggering under concerns over health.. the cycles are endless and overlapping.. like the sun shining during the rain.. death meets birth, how interesting.
Yet, I don't think anything in life ever cancels the opposite of itself out (i.e. birth/death). Everything, no matter how small or big, has a place under the sun.
