Thank you very much y'all for the comments. 
Venezuela has a lot to offer, but we rely too much on oil incomes, being the oil and its derivatives around the 90% of all the exported products. The funny thing is that our economy doesn't need to be that oil-dependent because we have coffee, cocoa, corn and a variety of other products, but that's just the result of ominous politics. HC is just intensifying that problem.

Very interesting
I have been keeping a close eye on this situation hoping through some miracle HC would be exposed for the animal he is..
I have traveled to Venezuela a couple times before HC. Although I thought it had a way to go I could see hope and progress. After HC and his cronies I knew the impact would set the country back...And it is a very wealthy country, no one should hunger there yet as I watch him give millions away to other countries to make himself look good I know it has to be the people who suffer...
I worry they are going to start killing many if the riots do not settle but no cause so great has ever come without sacrifice. Freedom is worth everything. I wish you the very best...Sally
