Good topic and well writen.
It is difficult being raised by such a teacher though and being taught to be seen and not heard and being a professional woman in a male dominated world. One as such is taught to look good, smile a lot and say very little unless asked, otherwise to mearly gesture validation or approval. I told myself long ago to observe, listen and learn knowing someday, someone would eventually ask of me and maybe by then I would have the knowledge and understanding to reply intelligently at the least or maybe even contribute, and longed to make a difference, coming full circle trading youth & beauty for wisdom...sigh....young woman today are learning to have both, bravo for this evolution.
