Sure!
That sounds like a good solution. I'd prefer to include the subject line too, but some people will probably have MA subject lines for their posts if the blog is rated MA.

another request...
Did I read it correctly that if the content is under MA, then it wouldn't show in the search? How about allowing it to show in the search but not actually showing the content but only the title of the blog and profile (with an MA note on it). This is the most commonly used method of searching for blogs and preventing someone from seeing at least the title would prevent our blogs from being read. Thanks!

MA blog rankings restored

MA blogs are also displayed in the Top 10.

Sounds good!

I had a discussion about this with AsianBeef as well, and the rankings of the MA blogs will be back soon. As long as people keep the blog name and description something that everyone can read, this should work fine!

I see what you mean about keeping people signed into the MA section. We'll add that, but it may take a little while, since we need to make sure that there's no risk that someone else could inadvertently view MA content.

It's a good idea

However, it would be good if there was at least some way of the sites in there being in the charts - even if it's  a separate 'top mature sites' list that only over 18s/21s whatever can view - not so much for the dirty bits of Free but because Asianbeef's blog is ace and it's a shame to see it vanish from the front page as lots of people could/do find it useful/interesting/entertaining.

Are things in the 'mature' section automatically excluded from the top ten? It would be better if there was some way of including them in there and firing up the 'health warning' if someone clicks to read the content.

Also, is there any way of having a 'tick here to always be able to see this content' box in that section as having to enter a username and password every time is a bit irritating and will automatically bias against anyone with adult content.

(NB: I do think it's a great idea to have the category - just a few tweaks to make it fairer)
