- I'm waiting for the sonnet where Terry Bull gets his... (poetic justice!)

Yes, I agree Pat - it's certainly not describing all men or women.

i know a man pig like that too..
But shouldn't we realize that when we say, "all men are", or "all women are", we're prejudiced against one half the world? Such blatant ignorance.... You know you do good work.

No, Najwa - this is amazing that you get the same type of man there too.
Just goes to show - men are the same everywhere - that kind of man is every man, but he is a commonly - found type of man, obviously.

That's interesting, Troosha. So it's not just a British thing.
And that's also an interesting point about buying free beer for his listeners. Hard to work out who are the bigger fools - him or them!

Tony
I have a Terry Bull in my world (but he's single so doesn't have a wife to slap).  I often wonder how he gets away with being so crass at the pub - more expletives as the evening progresses.  Yet he seems to have a following.  Sadly, I think the "following" is there for the free beer. As he gets more drunk he takes on the "More ale for my friends" persona.
