Hi all you commenters - thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your words!
Been out all day and it's late. These thoughts are based on the thinking I've been doing towards a book I'm putting together, but thinking my way thru these weighty topics is the easy part. The hard part is going to be how to present it as a readable book. Perhaps include some poetry? Comedy? Haven't decided yet! These thoughts are some of the thoughts I had last night about consciousness.

I'm staunchly ambivalent as to what we can and cannot control! By the way, it was (is) the "Zodiac" killer - the murderer, and the recent film that you referrenced - there have been other films - the one I saw (not the latest) was very good - I blame that "Vertigo" mistake on my insomnia! Either that, or one of my favorite film directrors, Sir Alfred Hitchcock, is messing with my mind - his ghost, that is!

We "control" far less than we think we do, that's for darn sure.  Great sonnet!

You into the wine again?    Very interesting work today; made me think for a few minutes.  We have certain controls about what goes into our bodies -say peas- but how it all functions, no.  Same with the other things you list........  Well done Mr. Scientific-Sonnet-Spinner!
