The unsaid words hurt the most and i have not found a way to unburden myself of them. I pray that Chris is safe and happy and that everything works out for you and your child. Take care and don't lose hope.

Cancer is one of the biggest b-------s. It does seem to me that a pair of
friends works out well if one talks less than the other one. I was one of the more silent types. I've had two friends die of cancer along the way. It is not fun.

I never had a friend like that, but after reading your story I'm wishing that I had. 
I can relate to what it was the two of you were searching for in or from one another after so much time had past. It's as though we lose a great deal of ourselves when we become mothers. We focus so strongly on the needs of others that we forget where we left off with our self!
