A fuller understanding of evil
I think we should learn to shun evil. Since hating implies a negative emotional state, we ought rather, to emply a positive emotional state against evil.

I think also we shoul be mindful that no every negative experience is necessarily a bad thing, since the suffering that it very often causes is generally the thing that pushes man toward the good.

Also if you have never suffered the consequences of a bad choice, how can you fully know the benefits of what making a good choice might bring next time around.

sannhet
Hate is usually a manifestation of something we don’t like about ourselves and rather than looking inwards, we direct that hatred outward. If we learn to love ourselves and by extension the fragile nature of every person around us, the world would be a far more loving place. I enjoyed reading your perspective.

Good post! I find that anytime I start up on "I hate this or that," my
mood turns negative and I'm focused on "me, me, me..."  Thanks for the reminder to seek after unconditional love.
