I've still got my tapes of stuff I've recorded off the radio!
Not that I listen to them anymore, but hey, that used to be the only way you could capture a song you heard but didn't know the artist or title. In fact, there are still a couple of songs I wish I could find on the internet but I've never found out the artist or title. I have nostalgia for tapes, but I am SO glad mp3s and the internet came around. I almost never buy CDs anymore.

Hi Tony
This musical piece is a delight to the ears, joy to the sight, and masterly in its design. Great work, I must say.

Hi Enigmatic - all those millions of blank cassette buyers can't be wrong
 - you can't make a compilation CD from radio highlights - not easily, anyway.

Yes, Mary, I am(or was)! I'll look out for you twittering away.
Do robins twitter? Anyway, don't let your feathers get wet - rain again today.

A wonderful sonnet - and yes, I completely agree with you about those good, old-fashioned, very useful things, known as cassettes!

Peas glorious peas!  Oh what wouldn't I live for!  ha, ha, ha,  Sure I'll remind you.  When you see that little robin perched in the crabapple tree next to the sweets shoppe, that'll be me, okay?  I sincerely hope you're sleeping now as it's past midnight in England.

Yes, Mary - the last peas are eaten. I have none in da house.
I need to buy some tomorrow on the way home from work - can you remind me when I'm getting near the supermarket? Thanks very much. I must do a sonnet about peas!

Hi Troosha - you came to GB at a bad time - it's been wet for a few days.
Hope you had a good time anyway - sounds like you had a good tour of different places over this side of the water.

Lovely work.  Knew you were talking about LPs right away, silly!  Yes, I remember recording from the radio years ago, but they don't seem to sell that kind of equipment anymore.  Wonder why.  Hope you're feeling better, sleeping well and eating peas!  Don't answer this comment, you just stay well, okay?

I missed your 'magic'.... I've said it a dozen times but you take a day to day thought or event and spin it into an anjoyable read.
I was in London for 3 days (got home last ight ) and yikes did we geet soaked!  It was most certainly a shocking contrast to the sun of Greece.  Interesting city though.

Hi OTA - that film about Ray Charles was on my telly last nite.
Have you recently seen it too? I must admit I haven't got a Ray Charles CD but I may correct that error before too long...
