its a hard thing to overcome, I am still bitter about my divorce and that was 23 years ago and I have had a lot of men that have done me wrong, only because I let them, shame on me

Once there are children involved...
...I think you have to be so careful about getting into relationships. Most people are into relationships for what they can get for themselves and will manage to pretend to be interested in being a more than devoted stepparent until you are into a 'for keeps' relationship or marriage. Then, more times than not, the true person steps forward and you are pulled in half between your children and the man you've committed to.
...For me with three children under five at the time of my divorce, the thing I missed most was having him physically present in the house at night, so I could do things like run to Walmart by myself if we ran out of milk....
