Manda Lee: Thank you for the information. Whether you agreed with him or not, Falwell was a man of conviction. He was instrumental in helping elect Ronald Reagan to the presidency in 1980. Falwell was a huge force in the religious right movement along with Pat Robertson. This evangelical movement remains a strong force within the Republican Party today. Larry Flynt must be laughing.
