Speaking from a single guy's perspective, I've seen this vindictive streak
on both sides in divorce cases. I've seen some truly vicious women go after men for exorbitant amounts of money, including alimony and child support. Still, I've seen men go after material assets, try to get unfair reductions in child support, etc. It's really very soap opera-ish and pathetic.

I'm currently in this "boat." It's an amicable split...if there is such a thing. I don't want half of anything. I want him to support his children - ofcourse, but more than anything I just want peace of mind and spirit and to be able to find a way toward friendship with him.

I would guess it probably does, actually.
Broken promises don't upset me.
I just think, why did they believe me?
