Damond ,
I am having trouble with my computer today. It is terribly slow. I appreciate you kind words.

Re: WHERE IS THE MOTHER'S GUIDEBOOK?

Questioning ourselves as parents doesn't make us perfect, but it leaves us open to learning from our parents and from others.  That in turn lets us learn how to become better parents.  If we never questioned anything that we did, we wouldn't be very good parents.  Well that's my take on it anyway.  I enjoy reading your writes--they make pretty good sense to me.

I agree with scramble - the fact that you, or any mother, can question how well we do the job of mothering shows how seriously we take it. It's when we don't wonder that we make mistakes.

Hi Justi - a very moving poem - we just have it in us to be parents -
the main thing we need is love (where have I heard that before?). Good luck to you, your daughter, and grandchild!

Oh so sad! You have opened your Heart to us! I firmly believe that a woman
who questions 'Mothering'-actually has the answeres within her! God bless-Chris.
