From my understanding, they are encouraged to not have children because of the extra chromosome they both possess.  The children would be disabled by some percentage.  Have you ever noticed how some folks with Down Syndrome are less affected than others with Down Syndrome?  Now and then a couple marries.  Very rare, I believe, but it happens.

trisha, I wok with adults who once were disabled children...they met life

headon, and even if they can't talk or walk or even go potty like :normal" people, they all still have souls...it's better than it used to be, but there's still a lot of people out there who just don't get it or understand....
