The depletion scenario is silly ...

However, in a bigger picture sense, you don't honestly believe the war in Iraq is actually going well though, do you?

If you're in a war, instead of
throwing a hand grenade at the enemy,
throw one of those small pumpkins.
Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is,
and while they are thinking,
you can throw a real grenade at them.

I read a post and the link right after Kansas was hit by the floods. The source on the link was a left wing rag and I knew it was bound to get worse. Unfortunately there will always be those who take advantage of disasters to rage some type of political warfare. I don't know when a natural disaster became fair game....well other then with the left everything is fair game...

There are two things about this that do not surprise me. First, that politicians will try to make political hay from a natural disaster, and lie in the process, since they always do.

Second, that you research and present your material so well, since you always do.

It's so pathetic - as much as I, shall we say, "disliked" our 42nd president, when the Bosnia thing was going down, I was sincerely hoping for the best possible outcome - I wasn't saying, "Yeah, I hope a lot of our troops get killed, so we rightists can show, once and for all, that "Slick Willy" is a bad Commander-in-Chief, as most of us (on the right) predicted he would be - I think this is all motivated by ultra-debased cynicism (by the dems./leftists).

Franklin Graham of the Shepherd's Purse already had fifty counselors there the first day and sever groups of people helping the residents go through their things and helping them to organize and store what they could find. His particular group have been in Mississippi since Katrina building homes, providing food and shelter and still are doing so. Operation Blessing still has free medical clinics in New Orleans and Mississippi you have no idea how great the help of the Christians are in any disaster. You never hear anyone talk about that. Millions of pounds of food was provided by Operation Blessing to the victims of all these past hurricanes and you will find that happening according to the need in Kansas.

Once more we see the democrats acting just like the republicans
Unless you wish to claim Bush and his people are 100% honest?  These guys are politicians both sides do this kind of thing all the time.  We are fighting in Iraq right now because Bush took 9/11 and used it for political reasons to push his agenda.

I keep pointing out that for the most part the Democrats and Republicans are practically the same.  There are a few little areas where the differ, but I would say 95% of the time you can't tell the tow parties apart.  it is sad and sick that we are so caught up in the B.S. of politics that we keep letting them play these games.

Well, let's see? Would a politician take a natural disaster
and turn it into political currency?  Would they lie?  Exaggerate?  Talk out of both sides of their mouth?  It would really be news if they did not. :)
