I think the late night hosts and comedians of our country should celebrate Bush's presidency from here on out with some kind of annual rememberence. What other president has produced so much fodder for our entertainment industry to exploit.
Be well,

I'm afraid to go to my post. But I thank you. JM was the absolute best and I'll do almost anything to assuage his soul. I pray for you several times every day. One day I'm going to have to blog on how I live now. I live a very simple life and my mission truly, is bringing joy to others, as nothing else really matters. To see the birth of a smile on the lips of someone watching a butterfly alight for the first time........ that's where He lives. That's where I live. That's where I love..........

Just read your tragic news. So very sorry. Thank you for the beautiful thoughts, you uplift me also with your warm and giving nature. I'm fine; taking iron and trying to pump up my system for minor "female" surgery in a couple of weeks. Which should put things right again, according to the doc. Hope you are doing well with your treatments - please take care of yourself.

Well, I don't blame him for that, but maybe my addiction to chocolate?...lol. Actually, I'm trying to lighten up politically, but I'm still very interested in current events and the political process, so I'm trying on spoof-ish posts. Pr. Bush won't be my only target, but he invites amusement with his gaffes...:) Have you noticed Hillary's changing with the wind accent? Next post will be about her.
Thank you again for your lovely comment.

Okay NOW the comment shows up.... lol Yes, CDN's are only allowed to be in the US for up to 6 months. I was in FL from Oct to Mar and that's 6 months.....because it's over two calender years, '06 and '07, it's tricky and up to the INS individual at the border. But I had trouble re-entering the US at Christmas because I couldn't prove to them I had permanent residency in Canada because I'm living with Momma. Long story. I was told that a beautiful woman of my age was usually married with children and not off galavanting to Florida for the winter. A big mess and I had to hire a US Immigration lawyer to get back in. Anyway. Yes, JM's lover......well that's difficult too. I'm blamed for a lot of the problems down there. Although, I know it's not me, it's their inability to deal with the situation. There's a HUGE difference as regards truly loving a human being and enabling. I just love. Always have. Always will. And I will not stop. I am who I am, I is who I is and I are who I are. And I'm a child of God. No apolgies. I need to write a book on this. Thanks!

Rae, I've been to Evansville, how come you didn't introduce yourself to me! lol! No matter, I'll never forget one road trip we took, in August.....I remember looking out the windows at the farmer's fields, at the wheat and the sun just shone so, it looked as though God had kissed the entire countryside. It was THAT beautiful. FL and TN, me too! GAWD! Although the southern tip of Ohio is beautiful as is PN in the fall, all those rolling hills. I forget what else you said because the comment didn't come up here?..........

WHile I'm thinking on it though, is Teddy okay? I don't see him much around?

I'm in Evansville, small city on the Ohio River
Just a few miles away from the Kentucky border; close enough to have the accent, lol. Not much scenic beauty around, the river is terribly polluted and the land pretty flat. But it's a friendly, kind of down home place. I Want Florida Too! I'm drawn there and to the mountains of Tennessee between. Those are my two most visited destinations whenever there's free time. I didn't know there were restrictions on coming into the U.S. from Canada...where have I been? lol..How lovely of you to offer so much moral support and time to JM, but I'm not surprised. You have that giving, helping way. Very glad you joined Blogit, dear Mary.

oh GAWD, you're going to FL? You have NO idea how much I love it there. I want to go there so bad, it's awful. JM's lover is in rehab outside Orlando and I'm the only one in his life of whom talks to him and I call him every second day. I so want to go and visit him, but INS won't let me back into the US until June. Where are you in S. Indiana? I've travelled by car through there and it was soooooooooo beautiful for me. Saw my first white bird there, whatever those tall things are. lol Lived for a year in Palatine, a suburb of Chicago and my husband at the time travelled and we went to Indiana a lot. He got a couple of speeding tickets there, though. So, Indian wanted him. I'm smiling!

That is wonderful, Mary - a heritage to wear proudly...though I'm not
a huge fan of monarchies in general, I realize the people born into them have burdens and crosses to bear like the rest of us and there are many royals who have used and continue to use their status as a conduit of good and constructive intent for the world - Princess Diana a recent, shining example of course. I'm sorry to hear about Fergie's spiral; she lost her mother too a few years after in a horrible car crash, if memory serves. I imagine her daughters are quite special and sweet. Thank you for sharing, dear Mary..Hope you are faring well.

You're right. They love each other like no other. She loves him still and he, her. I'm writing their story, but it probably won't be published until we're all dead. The Royal Family is so complicated. Yes, there was more to the break-up than met the eye....Fergie was a true princess and stepped back. We'll talk someday. Where do you live? I'll come visit you, too! I'm already travelling up the valley to see Wiley on Friday. I'll meet CorbinDallas as possibly another blogger in the next ten days and I'm going to visit proc and Kabu in NZ and AU in August. So........... where are you? You feeling okay today? Any results to your tests?

Fergie's great! She really is. She went a little haywire with a deathwish after Diana died, but she's calmed somewhat. You should see her girls now. Beatrice is....well, they're both lovely young women. You KNOW I LOVE TN! I'll be there in July for JM's family reunion........ oh life, ain't it grand?

Is she still writing? Oh my, a thought...you're not Fergie in disguise are you?? Nah, surely not..just a thought...forgive me..:) Has she found a good, loving man yet? I always thought her and Prince Andrew truly loved each other; their break-up seemed to be from palace and media pressures, imo.

Oh my, Mary, I was joking in a country related kind of way..
..though family research into my father's genealogy has revealed probable lines to the aristocracy of Scotland, of which a member married into royalty. Not proven beyond a doubt yet. Then a twig of the tree fluttered here, settled in highland country of Tennessee, North Carolina, right next to the Cherokee tribe and some mingling (lol) occurred.
Wow, that is fascinating! A real blueblood on Blogit, eh..? Teasing..Yes, Fergie, quite the colorful character, I enjoyed following her antics when she was younger. The Duchess knew how to mix it up...:) WOW again!
