hazel st cricket, I once rode a bike with a male friend
(back in the day) and it was raining. I had on a pants made of fairly thick material. The combination of the rain and wind made my thighs numb. It put me off riding motorbikes. But I guess if a motorbiker swept me off my feet Id get right on again.

Those, my dear, are the best damn restaurants around...greasy-spoon truckstops are a close second. Luckily, my house is one mile from the greasy-spoon. Unfortunately, the BBQ in Bainbridge, (not ten miles the other way), did not last long. Never got the chance to eat there.

If you really did go wee-wee all the way home, it must have at least kept the lower part of your body warm!
LOL!

Hazel...
I went to Sturgis last year and we were forced to ride in all kinds of weather. At one point, when we were coming back from Mt. Rushmore, we ran into pouring down rain and lightening, which turned to hail. Everyone pulled over and tried to hide under trees (bad in a lightening storm, but we were safe no where) but the hail continued to come down for 45 mintues. When it was done, we had to wait for some of the hail to melt cuz' the roads were totally COVERED! It was scary, but looking back now, it was hilarious getting pelted by nickel size hail balls.
