I have read most of your work. I like everything. I find your work educative, interesting and sometimes humorous. Reading your work helps to air all the emotions. Keep writing. Ill keep reading.

Yes, Mary - kind of you to ask.
But I could only sleep for 5 hours last night, back at home.

Thanks everyone for bearing with me and commenting.
I stayed away from home last night and all today so haven't had time to do anything on the computer. So now I must compose a sonnet and post it at 11pm!

our bodies really are murder machines, aren't they..but death brings
justice to all....

Per Mneme:metaphysical poets of yore live! We feed upon their dead words
My ethnic heritage allows me to see life in cycles, rather than a liner progressive (whether vertical or horizontal). Reminds me of a joke...later. A more ordinary example of death feeding life is eating animal protein, after the animal itself is dead...killed...refrigerated (the mind may compartmentalize; yet necessity allows/ed some of our species to eat the refrigerated rremains of colleagues and fellow hikers, mountaineers and travelers--no pun intended!), Bravotonyzonit. shalomfromneil

Great biological sonnet, reminds me of the metaphysical poets.

'And the worms go in and the worms go out.....'  Reminds me of earthworms in Momma's garden.  Lovely piece of work on the value of death.  Yes.  Well done!

I do believe you've been "infected" by all the Morrison poems I've been posting lately - excellent sonnet!

I just read a poem by NightMajik today that addresses being alive in a slightly different way.. and now I see NAJWA has one also.. I will have to go see that one too.. all this synchronicity is intriguing..
