every year, hudred of thousand of people march in the street every year. But this year is the presidential election, so there were even more. 5 years ago, we reached 1 MILLION protestor because the far right leader was in the 2nd tour.You have rallies almost every day. Small or big. But usually you have at least one huge evry month & others quite big on saturdays. 2 weeks ago, there was one against the far right.
i usually join only those i agree with & the "libertaires" & anarchists have some of the best rallies 
Many cops & some fights! Last year we had the marches against the CPE (you might have heard of it?) where there was a lot of mess & fights. i'll post some pix of it later of burning cars & cops beating people.
