You may be right, growler. We'll have to see if Bellichek can hold his
team together, keep everybody as healthy as possible, etc.  But these days, with free agency and trading like pit bosses on Wall Street... you never know whose going to have a great year anymore.  But, on paper, New England looks strong as hell.

Let me ask you this.  When was the last time the Pats missed the playoffs?  Last years team really wasn't that good and they almost made it to the Super Bowl.   I live outside of Washington D.C. and I will bet you that every fan of the 'Skins would die for Belicheck's results.  This isn't baseball where the Yankees can buy a playoff spot every year.  Name one coach in the NFL who's better than Belicheck.  You can't.  And his success helped make Indy and Pittsburgh(by the way, it's only been THREE years since he last won it) better teams.  Because, like I said, in order to be the best you must beat the best.  Three trips to the AFC title game in four years isn't bad.  Especially when you play in the tougher conference.

If Belichek "always gets it done" ...

How come they haven't won the Super Bowl in so long (four years)?

IMO, Tom Brady's fame is finally starting to adversely affect his performance. What, with all his illegitimate children, that model with the big nose, etc.

If I ever get real rich,
I hope I'm not real mean to poor people,
like I am now.
