It was terrible to be without power for more than six hours .
We got the electricity little after 2:00 AM . I really missed my after dinner chat .

Well, there...in India...they have something reffered to as "loadshedding" or something. The whole town goes out of power at certain ""unexpected" times, during the day/night.

That's too bad ...
Although are you referring to his being "out of power" in an actual sense (as in "lightning struck the electric company headquarters") or just in a physical sense (such as severe depression)?
Sometimes, when I lie in bed at night
and look up at the stars,
I think to myself,
"Man! I really need to get that roof fixed."
