Yes, it does Azur, even when attempts are made to trample

Jessica Lynch, Pat Tillman's brother and the young soldier who was with him were forthright and articulate when speaking in the hearings. And determined to reveal the truth about both stories.

Thank you for visiting.

Hello RckyMtn., new lows indeed!

Fascist leanings upon the populace meet resistance. I am thankful more and more people are waking up and smelling the mess. But until the big money/corruption factors in politics are at least weakened, change is the tiniest of wind. Politicians and corporations being held to true accountability so desperately needed. I know, talking to the choir, but it does help sometimes with those feelings of hopelessness and frustration - they get me down too.

Thank you for reading and sharing, keep on with your activism; it's very much appreciated.

I'm SO busy and out of touch that I've not yet had time to read aoubt Jessica Lunch, but I did read about the Tillman incident yesterday. Turns my stomach.

Hi Rae....Another excellent post...you and me...we think alike.

In my opinion this is just another lie, corruption or whatever exposed under this administration. I believe the military has always tweaked the truth, but our military under this administration take lying and corruption to a new low! What I don't understand is don't the Bush supporters put logic behind this? It's been one scandal after another with this administration. I would think the only Bush supporters should be the very rich, because that is the only Americans this administration is looking after.

As far as Jessica Lynch she was used by the military as a form of manipulation to help promote the war, trying to make everyone feel patriotic and all. With Pat Tillman, I think the military rarely tells the truth and is always looking to cover their asses. You know Rae, these are tough times for an activist. There are so many things that are messed up that we have to choose our battles. Now I know why I suffer from bouts of depression. Thanks again for this post!

We, tiny little Belgium, tried together with France and Germany
to prevent president Bush from going to war with Iraq, but of course to no avail, because a world power as the US, doesn't have to reckon with the opinions of others.
The most strange thing for me was, the moment in which Bush recognized the similarities between the war on Iraq and the Vietnam war. And yet he went on and is going on !

So true, TAPS, "profits nothing in the end.."

unfortunately, profits of the expendable type are the prophets in play.

Always been so, Xeno, drug the citizenry with illusions of right thru might
