Xeno -
It would be so much easier to have intelligent discourse with any person of religion if each party would admit that we know very little when it comes to "God".

Xeno-x - this line says it all

". . . a seed of truth somewhere in the dim past from which an elaborate story has been constructed."

Stories that were constructed from the limited knowledge of the day, further eleborated upon by the belief that all events were orchestrated by a higher power and made incredible by the widely held beliefs that these things were indeed possible. When all is said and done, many of the stories from ancient religious texts may have a basis in factual events but by any measure they have been turned into whoppers by the collective ignorance of our ancestors.

Considering they were "burned up" I'm not surprised they didn't find much.
Unbelievers will continue to not believe...and believers will continue to believe.
