Well done!  Two very different offerings today.  Yet related in a way as both concern a birth of sorts.  BTW, it's finally Spring here!  Warm temps and sunshine will pull those blossoms out jiffy quick, now!  --Joy!Mary

What a shame--the blooming of the first flower and no human eye to see it.  Its a good thing we have an imagination.

Hi Neil - you make a good case for creationism, and a clever sonnet!

It is hard to see why oranges should exist except for our enjoyment.
