Well, that depends on when I reclick. For example, when I clicked here, I could see your last ten posts. I can read all of them at the cost of only one click. However, if you write a new post, I'll have to click again to see it. That click will count as a second "unique" click.

Ahhh...so if you would reclick and read a different post here, it would still only count as one vote? But if I make another post here, and you click and read any post it will count as another vote....is this correct?

The way I understand it, there are two ranking systems, most popular today, calculated by the number of clicks in a 24 hour period and the top blogs ranking which is tabulated weekly. As far as the unique clicks thing goes, it's per post, not only per blog. For example, I can click on this post of yours countless times, but it will only count once as far as determining the rankings. However, if you post again, the process starts over.

Your actual ranking does not change........for instance, I am now 6th (I think) in opinion for most read in the past seven days. As far as my actual ranking in opinion, it is way down.

I think you're confused and that maybe you have just confused me too. LOL.
I think what they are saying is that they are going to take averages from the past 7 days, to determine our rank each day.
And that only unique clicks will count...one per day.

I think that the 7 days is most read.......your ranking is still under where your blog is and is not changed by this.........or I could be totally wrong and confused

Click on your name, beside your ranking # you will see some kind of blue icon. If you mouse over it, it will tell you how they will be calculating the rankings now.
