I just spotted your email. I'll send you a decent note tomorrow. I'm falling asleep now. So, this is a GREAT topic for me to answer. I have a little list going. Bullets, mayhem, the normal stuff, normal people would run from, I think I can handle.
Clowns, mimes, all things Mardi Gras, masquerade masks and Marty Feldman. How's that for a list. On my Myspace facts page, I have something like --- I will walk down a dark side street just to avoid crossing paths with a mime, and that's absolutely true. They're really, really creepy. Who got the idea to do that the first time.
And clowns! I used to be okay, but now I see them for what they really are. I'll be posting a blog I wrote on my brother, the clown.

I was a sickly kid afraid of ghosts, more than the street bullies I often
had to fight, since bullies often pick on such kids; anyway, I straightened out my main bully and then there were only ghosts. Now I realize it would be great to see a ghost, simply because it means there is some action after death...

Actually, spiders are cool to look at, but have one crawl across me at unawares and I'm screaming like a little bitch.
Close places bug me, too -- I'm going ot be cremated when I die because the thought of being shut up in a box forever just gives me willies I know would never go away, even during a dirt nap.

Spiders not so much, scorpions are very scary though
My wife was living in Mexico when they had that huge earthquake in '85 or '86, I can't remember exactly when. But a couple of days later the scorpions were coming out of the ground that was broken up. People who lost their homes and forced to sleep outside were being attacked at night by those little creatures. Shit like that gives me the creeps.
