Kimere-my heart goes out to you!! I've experienced abuse in the past---
NONE-of what is going on is-LOVE! It is all-CONTROL--ABUSE--ABHORRANT!! It has taken me almost 9 years of therapy-to lay the ghosts of the past to rest! Is there no counselling/therapy provided for you? If not-At the VERY LEAST-can you buy a book written by Penny Parks called-"Rescuing The Inner Child"? If you can't-I could get one and send it to you. Please let me know if you want to.Chris.

ZERO ZERO ZERO TOLERANCE
HITTING IS NOT LOVE. KICKING IS NOT LOVE,CHOCKING IS NOT LOVE. YES THEY SHOULD BE LOCKED UP FOR LIFE. AND YES THE VICTIM SHOULD SEEK HELP. BUT WHY IS IT THEY THE ABUSTER FIGHT HIT KICK CHOCK ALL OF THE ABOVE. I THINK SOMEONE SHOULD DO A SURVEY ON AND ABUSTER AND SEE WHAT KIND OF LIFE THEY LIVE BEFORE SOMEONE GET WITH THEM. WAS THEY BULLY IN SCHOOL. I DON'T KNOW JUST A THOUGHT. TAKE CARE PEACE AND LOVE.

True - it's easy to speak from the outside - a nightmare if you're the
victim. Only they can explain why it's not easy to walk away. There should be a zero tolerance but it's hard to accept that a dream marriage and home has to be abandoned, especially when the abuser often appears to be sincerely in love most of the time... From what I've read they exhibit both extremes of nastiness and niceness.
