Good for you, ladychardonnay. Way to take the ole bull by the horns, even
if you don't exactly know what the bull looks like or where its horns are.  Still, you've taken a proactive step.  The kids (and your daughter) will be better off for it.

But just being involved with this part of their life...
Is to quote the ad, "priceless".  We went through T-ball, little guy wrestling and finally the really big one, motocross.  The problem with a lot of the stick and ball sports is the "drop off" parents.  I think they use the sport as a babysitter.  They are never around to help out.  Motocross, while being dreadfully expensive and very dangerous requires the parents participation.  Contrary to what one may think, it was the most family oriented sport we did.  Even next weekend we are going with the oldest son (28) to a Radio Control car race, lots of fun and no ambulances!
