So very right you are, Toby. Especially about those intolerant and
belligerent American evangelicals and Muslim jihadists. Both are far too extremist. You should read
Kingdom Coming by Michelle Goldberg. It's a very good book about the rise of American nationalistic evangelicals. And then there's
Contempt by Catherine Crier, which shows how evangelicals and right-wing conservatives have effectively taken over the American court system, although they wage a propaganda campaign about how besieged America is by all the godless liberals and the apathetic. We have entered a time of extremism in America and, if we are not careful, things can get pretty ugly pretty quick. It didn't take Hitler long to convert a population of hard-working Christians into a well-oiled fascist state.

Respect is EARNED in my book. I don't command it from anyone nor do I allow ANYBODY to command it of me. Good arguement!
