YP-
I loved this one; your car the bride so clever!  You are a romantic, Neil.  Here in Kansas, we had them throw wheat for good luck. In fact our wheat had been grown by my father. Here we are 30 years ago, running through a hail of wheat....

You are so right-Neil-with each and every ending-there is a new begin!
My cherry blossom has not come out yet-seems late-so it won't be blown away just yet.Nice one Neil.Chris.

Why these are lovely!  The word, 'car 'made me laugh, but you're so right!  Love that turtle.  --Joy!Mary

Proc, Moonspirit, Tonyzonnet-I do enjoy the encouragement. Who doesn't. And

I know I improve each time I read others here on Blogit, and each time I write. I adore the haiku--though I have yet to write a real one, that will be accepted by the hajin.

Tony was instrumental in having me get over my diffidence with the sonnet form. I read his, and then go on experimenting with themes my mind latches on to. The best of blogit is to encourage writers get better in every way, every day. shalomfromneil. Blessings/Paz!

Ah yes, I do enjoy the cherry blossom theme.
The picture is good, and also I think your second haiku is a different and original take on the theme.

YP, in my opinion, you become more and more and more talented. Perhaps it is merely the dullness of me that is being removed. As the cherry blossom itself, you open more joyously, flinging fragrance with abandon. MoonSpirit
