In Africa,a town called East London.1981.I was teaching:school paused & we
watched the wedding in real time. She did earn her place in history---racism is alive and well; it played a role in her death because she dared to plan a marriage with Doodie! shalomfromneil (Peace during these anniversaries). Neil

Lovely, informative and thoughtful post.  I agree about Charles.  I was annoyed with him for a long time.  Betrayal is heinous, and especially in front of the public.  Read part three of my Princess Diana story tomorrow and you'll know my thoughts on the, 'conspiracy' issue.  Lovely work, Rae.  --Joy!Mary

The Elton John song was so special and Princess Diana was one classy lady.  Thanks for sharing this again.

Elton John rocks! He's absolutely brilliant. Princess Di was
beautiful and handled the crap life threw at her with grace.
